Beach!
ONeill beach week is underway! We have 6 kids filled with A LOT of energy. They’re all getting along pretty well! We have 4 kids all bunked up in one room and Charlie is sleeping on a mattress in our room. We drove down to the beach and we stopped at McDonald’s. Jack said “I have a cheeseburger double.”
Pool time!
We joined the pool that mike went to growing up and the boys are in heavennnnnn! Also, the Butallas and Ricketts are in town for our big beach trip!! The kids are of course having an absolute blast together already. Jack does this bellyflop/dive into the water then will go under water and swim for a couple feet. I don’t know where he learned how but it seems like something clicked and he’s basically a fish. Charlie has an appropriate fear of the water this year. He’s jumping in butt first and crawling along the bottom with his hands and letting His body float behind him. When we went into the big pool they were both hesitant (at least they know they should be weary of such deep water). We’ve spent about 8.5 hours at the pool in two days. It’s awesome. We leave for the beach this morning for a week of complete and utter chaos. Let the games begin! So exhausted after the first day. Picnic lunch! Bailey and char char coloring nicely
