Post zoo
The day after our BUSY day at the zoo jack had a low grade fever for a couple hours, was tired and didn’t really have any interest in food. Too much fun at the zoo? We also played allll afternoon after the zoo. Idk. Anyways he was perky and on his scooter like 6 hours after his fever and was fine that evening/ the next day. Not what that was but he’s fine now. Boys are doing great in school. We get to start sending Charlie twice a week now which I’m excited about. Whenever jack goes without him he’s like buuuuuut what about me? As previously mentioned they (esp jack) is learning so much. It’s amazing and I’m so glad we found this opportunity. Not feeling super Jack’s old preschool prepped these bat crafts for the kids to make. Charlie literally sat for 45 Mins and made 6 bats 😂 soo into it Charlie thought he was hilarious putting on one of my boots The boys in school
Zoo!
Yesterday we went to the zoo with the Sandovals. Marcello took off work and mike was off so it was a family affair. The boys loved it. And all the kids were so well behaved. DC makes you wear masks at ALL times even outdoors. So... being the strict place they are, lots of the indoor exhibits were closed. I think 3 of them were actually open and they did a good job of controlling the flow and enforcing time limits that you’re allowed in the building for. The Asia trail was closed so no pandas :(. The lions and tigers were super vocal which was a first. And the elephants were funny throwing dirt on their backs. Jack’s fave animal was the cheetah. Charlies fave animal was the “RAWRRRRR” (soooo, lions or tigers). It was a super exhausting day and the boys were in bed around 6:45 and woke up exactly 12 hours later 😂 👌🏻 Poor monkey We played out back for a while after we got Home and relaxed a bit. It was a good day.
