Florida

We had Christmas in Florida. I can’t even begin to explain how nice it felt to get the eff out of VA. Like it was magical. The plane felt safe and everyone wore masks and were (mostly) super respectful. On our flight down I was seated next to this massive man who was taking up his seat and half of mine. He didn’t even move or flinch when I tried to sit down. I was scrunched to one side. He also was an idiot and had only his mouth covered. I asked him immediately to cover the eff up which he did. I was planning my exit. There was ONE row with just one human in it so I asked the flight attendant to move and he let me. So, Charlie came and sat with me and mike and jack hung. Much better. Mike said the flight attendants had to constantly tell him to put his mask on AND they had a CAT so good call on my end, I truly disliked the man immediately. That’s quite a judgment but I don’t care.  Anywayssss we got there, grabbed our rental And got to the house! Jack spotted the pool and was begg...

Staple head Charlie

We had our first ER visit. For Charlie. He fell right into the baseboard (he wasn’t even being crazy). There was blood EVERYWHERE. This happened last Friday soooo the 18th. He got 5 staples and did great all things considered. Kels took jack so mike And I could go with Charlie. Yes I could have taken Charlie by myself and Jack could have stayed with mike buttttttt that’s not what happened. I was not going without the ER nurse dad... obviously.  Then obviously we played with blasters afterwards.  The next day we went to Gigi and babas and they gave the boys some gifts from them and some from our Minnesotan family. We hadn’t seen them innnnn forever so it was nice.  Gigi gave them kiwi co boxes which were a huge hit. They played with them forever!

First snow

Yesterday we had our first snow fall. We got liiiike two inches. We had a perfectly lazy snow day complete with hot chocolate and a Christmas movie. Jack said “this is the best day ever!” He was soooo psyched that it s nowed. We went sledding and enjoyed the snow for a bit until the rain came in and sucked all the fun up. Jack was out for like two minutes and Mike accidentally threw a snowball right at his bare FACE. Cool cool. Charlie lasted less time than jack did but seemed to enjoy it! He was skeptical of sledding at first (which kind of surprised me) but once he gave it a try he was a fan.  Jack: can I go now?!?! Me: sure please smile first.  Jack: 😒 Me: 🤷🏼‍♀️ Jack: 🙄😬  Christmas movie for the boys Nd homework for mike  Warm bath to finish the day. Charlie was NOT into a bath and requested a shower by dad. What?
