Our O’Neill Life 3

He got right out of the car and walked away with a stranger. My heart was beating out of my chest. I pulled over and held back tears. We just willingly put our kids somewhere with people we hope are amazing and kind. I know he’ll be in great hands and have a blast. I just needed a moment. Mike picked him up and it seemed like he had a great day!! MAJOR regression with the potty training. We sent him with a pull up even though I knew we shouldn’t have 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ 

Jack starts school on Tuesday. I went to the parents only orientation last night and mike took him today to meet his teacher and to play/look around. I had my launch of the new lifetime program so I couldn’t make it 😭 anyways, So excited for him!! 

Jack picked out some big boy underwear on Amazon and they came in yesterday. He was so excited. He hugged them and said “I missed these underwears.” 3 year olds are hilarious. He put them on last night and he seemed really proud and happy to wear them. Charlie even wanted to wear a pair. The new undies are on today and we haven’t had any accidents yet 👍 *knock on wood* Dad opening the package.  Checking out the new undies! 

I can barely stand how cute these two Are together/in general. Yes, I know I’m biased. Charlie is such a handful. He’s recently into pushing a chair over to The silverware drawer and just checkout out the goods. Today I gave him a messy lunch and decided I Should take his shirt off first. He lost his crap. He threw his bowl and just cried/screamed. We have lots to work on.  The other video monitor I had broke so I got another  one and I’m happy to let him cry/soothe himself back to Sleep now I can see him again. I was going in to help him get back to sleep but he’s sooo got this. Let’s get back to some good sleep habits please! We have a busy week coming up! I’m testing out for The new barre program I’m launching and we have jack’s orientation for preschool! I’m excited for Him to start school. I know he’ll love it!  Waiting to get his haircut! Mike And I bribed him. He requested popcorn. Ok buddy 👍

Kate and I took a very quick trip to the beach. My parents graciously opened their home and welcomed our traveling circus and all the chaos we bring with us. We had an awesome time. The kids were (mostly) very well behaved, the weather was beautiful and we all survived. Kate and I make a great team 👍 This child is ridiculous.  Charlie was bothering Chloe while she was trying to do this puzzle. He decided to escalate things even further by plopping right down on her lap. I laughed, took a picture then picked him up.  Anyone wonder what jack would look like with a goatee?  Hurricane Charlie, category 5 coming through!  Exhausted. I feel ya buddy. 

The Ricketts girls are in town! First day... dc! Jack and Charlie had their first metro ride. We rode a nice new fancy train into town then a dirty old one on the way back... oh the memories! We went to the Smithsonian museum of natural  History to check out the new Dino exhibit. It was hard to pay attention with the boys soooo idk what I thought about it!  And we rode  The carousel  They watched the carousel go around Before they got on and jack was like “I’m going to get on the dragon.” He overheard another kid say it and he was like “no! I get the dragon!” He sprinted over there as soon as the gate opened. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
