6 weeks

Charlie turned 6 weeks old yesterday! Big boy! His sleep has been really off lately so I’m trying to be as patient as possible because I know this will pass. I’m doing my best with everything considering how tired I am! Two kids is no joke- how did our parents have 4??! Jack is becoming quite opinionated lately... and he is seriously testing us... my parents had a glimpse of it yesterday.. I can smell those “terrible twos” just around the corner šŸ˜‚ 
We close in a little over a week on our new house. Can’t wait! I’m excited for jack and Charlie to have their rooms set up and to establish a new routine and some normalcy. Also stoked about a yard for the dogs and a park right behind our house!!! We’ll have to get blinds ASAP and take the long way there so jack doesn’t see it and realize he can walk right out our back yard to the park šŸ˜‚ he’ll want to live there! 

I took jack on another play date today with the moms group. It was at a place called NOVA Labs. It was so cool. Trucks, slides, climbing wall, trains, magnets, cars, etc. He really seems to like older boys. Of all the kids at this place that were his age he was drawn to a 6 year old boy that was playing with him. Jack kept on pointing to toys and saying “trucks” to the boy like he was trying to entice him to come play more. It was super cute. We were there for over 3 hours. Everyone had already left by the time we did lol 

Baba was so kind yesterday and took jack for a bit so I could do an errand with just Charlie. No offense but it’s just easier with one kid sometimes!

Art show at school. It was super cute- they had all of their artwork up in the hallways for us to see.  My friend Sam had her baby (neighbors) and I’ve been trying to help out here and there. This was when she was still pregnant but we all went together to literacy night at the school so Sam could have a break. It was really cute.  Wanted every single bow in her hair for nighttime. None of them were in when she woke up.  Oh, poor jack. He had a realllly bad fall at the skate park. Blood everywhere, coming from his mouth and nose. I thought he broke his nose, lost some teeth, etc. we went to the dentist to make sure his mouth was ok and some how everything was ok. He got lucky! It was so hard to see him hit the ground and essentially face plant on the concrete. My mama heart was broken.  Some hot days! Back to the skate park šŸ¤·šŸ¼‍♀️ Field trip! His face healed realllly quickly We got Charlie a new mattress so we rode the old one down the stairs šŸ«£

Jack got one of the quarter award for all 4s on his report card! Lunch with mom and dad in the library!  Look at my handsome boy! He’s LOVING soccer.  Scoot all day everyday  They refuse to walk with us to school. My friend took this pic and sent it to me. Cuties  Wyatt helping Quinn cross the parking lot. We carpool with another family to soccer.  My neighbor Sam had her baby so we were in charge of their dog for a bit.  Date with Babcia and grandpa

Went in for lunch with the boys. Yes, the pizza is still the same from when we were kids.  Charlie changing Quinn’s diaper. But don’t worry, we are now potty trained!  I got a pedi on Mother’s Day and Quinn came. She freaking loved it.  Checking out how the washing machine works  Thais a good brother!  We got to bring cupcakes into Quinn’s class for snack. We sang to her and she felt super special :) Safety first  Quinn walked with Sam to pick up Harper the other day.  Quinn is 3!!!!! I figured this was probably the last birthday I could get away with keeping it low key so that’s what we did! A couple kids migrated to our yard and we had cupcakes :) And some sweaty fun  All she wanted was a dog that walks. Sorry bud it’s the closest thing you’ll ever have as a real dog šŸ˜‚
