Annandale life

I am making sure to keep us nice and busy here in Annandale! We’ve explored rec centers, about 6 different libraries so far, Parks, targets, etc. I love that there’s so much to do. My mom is still in town and Kendall is on spring break so we’ve spent a lot of time with them this week. Poor Kendall got her wisdom teeth out so she’s been pretty miserable. We saw Kelsey and baby Mia on Friday which was awesome!
 I joined some mom groups and one of the ladies had a play date on Friday. You can check the gender/ages of the kids attending and they were about jacks age so I decided to just go! Boy it did not disappoint. This boy had all the trucks. And trains. And snacks. Jack had an absolute blast and I enjoyed speaking to other adults. I am so glad we went. I hope she hosts again! 
Charlie is getting better in the sleep department. His grunting is become less and less each night. He’s now in his bassinet. It’s a love/hate relationship because sometimes he throws up in the middle of the night (I always burp him and wait 15-20 mins before laying him back down) but sometimes it doesn’t seem to matter. he’s right next to me so I can pick him up if I need. 



Gang is all bere! I would love a second or two to myself but wouldn’t trade this for the world!

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
