Proud parents
I don’t want to jinx us but Charlie has been doing fabulous in his crib. Last night he gave us a glorious 6 hour stretch of sleep. A big improvement from him getting up every 2/3 hours. Mike said he should have been in his crib this whole time... I don’t disagree. He’s so active in his sleep... we find him facing in a different direction every time we go in there. And he seems to enjoy sleeping on his side. Yesterday he just about rolled over to his tummy. I’m sure he’ll be a tummy sleeper like jack. He has been going down for naps/bed with very minimal crying if any at all. Man what a relief we’ll be able to get some sleep now. Gosh I really hope I didn’t jinx us by talking about success!

Stella and Murphy got out the other day. This is jack yelling “La” trying to get her back home. She’s like a teenager, she comes back home when she feels like it.

Getting there...

Playing with our friend Talon. JCk kept calling their black dog “Me” (Murphy) because she has the same colorings that Murphy does

Jack has been talking up a storm lately. He’s stringing words together and his vocabulary is really growing. He says good morning to us, asks for help, please, asks to bring his cars into the bath to clean them. He’s obsessed with his cars. When he sees a baby of any kind (be it an animal, human, etc.) he will acknowledge that it is a baby and say baby Charlie. He calls eggs “gees” and avocados “cados.” Now Mike and I call them that.
