Birthday boy

Our sweet Jack is 2! Oh, what a whirlwind the last two years have been. He is such a blessing. He’s smart, funny and full of personality. He’s constantly making us laugh. He loves trucks, planes, cars, bubbles, family, parks, stores.... the list goes on. He brings so much joy to our lives! We had family over yesterday to help with the house and to celebrate with pizza and cake. Jack thoroughly enjoys both. My parents/Kendall helped clean up Charlie’s room, organize and dad painted the kitchen! Kels, Marcello and Mia joined us later to celebrate. We even put the babies in the double stroller and took the dogs for a walk... what a process! It was such a fun time. We sang to jack and he opened presents from babcia and grandpa. Trucks and shoes and  underwear and potty books, oh my! Babcia made him a cheesecake, his fave! 

Today we went to lunch at honey pig, let him pick out a toy, got him a new potty and pjs and played, played, played! It was a great day. Charlie was a sweetheart today as well and easily went with the flow. Jack put his new shoes on in the morning and wore them for hours while he played with his truck. He chose to
Get a bubble machine at Walmart which he played with in front of The house with dad. 

He was so into the potty when mike opened it up. He went pee pee on the potty and was so excited about it he kept trying to get a little more pee out each time He would sit back down. We ended the day with a great sink bath complete with some left over cheese cake. Love you sweet boy!!

Other notes to explain pictures:
-got him a sprinkler and he loved it. He needed dad to show him how to do it!

The Crossfit area of the gym. Jack enjoyed lifting things and “working out”

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
