Lately

Potty training is kind of happening. Sometimes
He shows interest and sometimes he is very blasé about it. He realizes when he pees which is good but today he pooped in his new undies. He likes to read books when sitting on the potty. We have had two successes with pooping so far! Obviously he’s still young so we are being very patient and not forcing him.

The other day at target he saw this straw fedora in the dollar section. He pointed to it and said “ wahoo, cowboy!” He insisted on putting it on, then said Charlie cowboy, mama cowboy. So each of us put a fedora on. I totally understand the confusion... cowboy hat, fedora ... totally the same.

Jack has played with his birthday bubble machine everyday since his birthday. It lures in new friends and it’s so fun! He loves it! The weather has been exceptional here so sitting outside playing with bubbles is lovely.

Charlie hadn’t pooped for 4 days so we gave him Some apple juice to try and move Things along. It worked!  Why do I know how many days since the baby has pooped?! Oh, motherhood...

Jack will lay things on their back (cars, trucks, teddy bears, etc.) and say “night night.” Yesterday he laid a dinosaur toy on its bad and said “dinosaur night night jack night night” then laid down in the grass next to the dinosaur. He cracks me up on a daily basis.
