Pool rats

I took the boys to the pool on Saturday with Gigi (kinda nervous to try in my own) and it’s safe to say we have two pool rats. Both boys love the water. On Sunday, for Father’s Day, we went and got some plants for the front yard and got to work. I love how it turned out!  After, we went to Gigi and babas house and I made dinner for everyone. It was a fun time! Yesterday mike had off and Matt/Gigi are some with school/retired so we all went to the pool, baba included! Jack saw his first lightning bugs on Sunday night, he was in awe/confused. Chasing lightning bugs reminds me of my childhood summer (probably along with the rest of the population). But that just screams summer! Jack was funny running from the top of our yard to the bottom... we count for him and he holds up his pointer fingers as we say “one.” Funny boy 





































Matt took jack into the big pool for the first time yesterday. Jack liked it but was very cautious!

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car.
