Splash pad

I took the boys (jack) to the splash pad at Fairfax corner today. Jack was very skeptical at first but 100% warmed up to it a couple minutes later! He sat down next to an older girl and bent down so he was right in her face to Say hi. He then showed off his bandaids that we put all over his boo-boos. Such a flirt! Our time ended with an older boy running into jack and knocking jack down on his butt. Whenever jack gets hurt when we are out he says “hoooomeee” inbetween his cries. Time to leave. Poor char has a pretty nasty cough and a stuffy nose. He didn’t nap well yesterday and he didn’t sleep Well either. He just wanted to snuggle... if I had to guess he’s quite uncomfortable. It was a long night for char and I... I am tiredddddd! ☕️ 

Mike called while we were walking to the splash pad and I had it on speaker so jack knew it was mikes voice. I said bye and when I put the phone down jack said “bye bye dada Oneill” in jack speak. I love that he recognizes his voice! 





















Very skeptical at first!

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
