More fun

We were literally gone all day yesterday. We left the house at 11:30 and returned around 7:30. We went to Celia’s house to play since the basement is FILLED with toys. Lots to do for any age! Celia’s niece, Charlotte was there and she was so sweet with Charlie. He was smiling and taking it all in the whole time. We left to head back to Gigi and babas house, put Charlie to sleep then went to silverados for lunch. By the end, Anna, Chloe and jack were running circles around the table around us. My child started it. Need to work on those table manners. 

After we just hung around the house and had dinner. Baba took the older kids for a walk outside and Matt snagged a picture of Chloe and jack holding hands. Of course I’m a sucker for that level of cuteness. The kiddos picked raspberries and walked around with a huge bamboo stick and we were on our way home shortly after. Another fun day.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
