We spent a lot of time outside this weekend! We went to Mason Neck State Park for a cookout our neighbors invited us to. They had a little museum with a couple reptiles and other outdoorsy stuff for jack to check out. They also had a kids program and jack made a plaster animal print. It was a nice time! I had to work that night so we had to dine and dash. It was hot out so I was kind of relieved to get the boys out of the heat. On Sunday mike and jack went to the track at a nearby high school to run around, then we all went to the dog park and then mike went to the pool with jack. I worked again so I dropped off Charlie before I went in. Fun times.

Jack has been seriously struggling with sleeping lately. It sucks and I’m tired 😴

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
