Story time

I took the boys to story time today. We hadn’t been to the library in months and jack was (I think) into it more now than before. He’s so not into the singing but he had fun. And Charlie was great too. He rolled around and sat with me the whole time. We checked some books out and dad read them all to jack when we got home.  


They played with toys at first and he was really into the dinosaurs. He had two big ones and two small ones (mama, dada, Charlie and jack of course). This is

Look at jack up front in the stripes. The lady who did the story time was FABULOUS. She’s so sweet and I love how she speaks to the kiddos. She makes them feel like they’re the only ones in the room. I love her.



He grabbed the goggles from my backpack
And wanted to wear them during story time. Cuz toddlers love goggles 🤷🏼‍♀️



He sat so nicely after and looked at books. Didn’t quite understand the concept of picking ones out to take home but I hope we can do it more often and he’ll actually find ones he’d like to read with mike and I.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
