Out and about

We’ve had lots of rain lately so I’ve been making sure we stay nice and busy! We went to this play place called monkey Joe’s yesterday that jack really enjoyed. Bonus: if you download their ap you get in for free. So we had a fun day and I didn’t have to spend a dime! Jack has been HATING getting his diaper changed lately and putting on clothes. It’s so fun. He also doesn’t like to share and is always saying “no Charlie” when Charlie tries to play with anything that “belongs” to jack. He’s always making me laugh and is soooo verbal now. The other day we were going upstairs and he said “come on guys!” He’ll hand me something and say “here ya go mom” (in a super innocent voice, especially if it’s something he shouldn’t have). He can say 6+ word sentences and can repeat things if we ask him to. He’ll also hold open the trash can top for me to throw something in and he’ll open the gate upstairs for me and stands there patiently until I walk through. He’s eating A LOT lately and is back to sleeping through the night. He climbs right in his bed and lays down now 🙌🏼

Charlie loves to eat!! He gets really excited when I put him in his chair to eat. He has liked everything I have given him so far and does a really good job of picking it up and finding his mouth. He’s army crawling and is soooo into exploring. He’s happy most of the time and is doing well napping and at night. He starts getting fussy/tired about 2.5 hours after his last sleep so as long as I get him in bed on time he stays pretty content.

Worst day ever! He’s gonna get abs from all this crying and tantrum throwing he’s doing!

I asked jack and tommy to cheers eachother and tommy ran away so jack was standing there ready to cheers so he picked up Tommy’s cup and tapped the cups together to cheers anyway. This is the face ms made 😂

Art show at school. It was super cute- they had all of their artwork up in the hallways for us to see.  My friend Sam had her baby (neighbors) and I’ve been trying to help out here and there. This was when she was still pregnant but we all went together to literacy night at the school so Sam could have a break. It was really cute.  Wanted every single bow in her hair for nighttime. None of them were in when she woke up.  Oh, poor jack. He had a realllly bad fall at the skate park. Blood everywhere, coming from his mouth and nose. I thought he broke his nose, lost some teeth, etc. we went to the dentist to make sure his mouth was ok and some how everything was ok. He got lucky! It was so hard to see him hit the ground and essentially face plant on the concrete. My mama heart was broken.  Some hot days! Back to the skate park 🤷🏼‍♀️ Field trip! His face healed realllly quickly We got Charlie a new mattress so we rode the old one down the stairs 🫣

Jack got one of the quarter award for all 4s on his report card! Lunch with mom and dad in the library!  Look at my handsome boy! He’s LOVING soccer.  Scoot all day everyday  They refuse to walk with us to school. My friend took this pic and sent it to me. Cuties  Wyatt helping Quinn cross the parking lot. Went in for lunch with the boys. Yes, the pizza is still the same from when we were kids.  Charlie changing Quinn’s diaper. But don’t worry, we are now potty trained!  I got a pedi on Mother’s Day and Quinn came. She freaking loved it.  Checking out how the washing machine works  Thais a good brother!  We got to bring cupcakes into Quinn’s class for snack. We sang to her and she felt super special :) Safety first  Quinn walked with Sam to pick up Harper the other day.  Quinn is 3!!!!! I figured this was probably the last birthday I could get away with keeping it low key so that’s what we did! A couple kids migrated to our yard and we had cupcakes :) And some sweaty fun  All she wanted was a dog that walks. Sorry bud it’s the closest thing you’ll ever have as a real dog 😂
