Weekend away!

 Mike picked up a couple shifts this weekend (and I already had the weekend off) so we decided to drive up to Delaware! The drive was fine and both boys were pretty good. By the end they were both so done of sitting in the car and I could tell they were getting antsy! Jack remembered the house and went straight for his toys that were left here. We went to the pool and to a neighborhood get together. Charlie was passed around to a couple people and jack had a blast! He kicked the ball around with babcia, ate lots of food and even had his first s’more! After the boys were in bed dad and I went up to northeast to have a drink. It was fun to see my old coworkers! I never got to sit at the bar there and have a drink since I was pregnant the whole time I worked there. It was nice!

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
