Lately

Recent happenings: 
We went to see my mom and company on Wednesday. Then we went to a park in Fairfax to get some fresh air. It’s def getting chillier out... I mean it is mid November!

Dinner at Gigi and babas house on Thursday. Gigi found a really cool play kitchen on the side of the road for free so of course she brought it home for the grand babies! Bigggg hit with jack and Charlie! Jack practiced “cutting” the fake fruits and veggies. 

Mike and I both had off on Saturday (what?!) so we went to a touch a truck event, to a brewery down in Manassas and to a delish dinner in down town Manassas. Then we came home and played with the new walker that Gigi bought for Charlie. 

Sunday I worked in the morning. Mike took boys to Annandale to play. 














We had friends over for dinner on Friday. I was innocently changing jack’s diaper and by the time
I finished, all 3 babies made their way over to me!

From weeeeeeks ago. A little snow that was gone and melted in 2 days Valentine’s Day 🫣  Videographer at LT featuring the kids academy.  To bed with makeup on. The gift that keeps on giving, Mimi. Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
