Walker

I think it’s safe to say we have a walking Charlie! He’s confident and walks across the room with a huge smile on his face... right into my open arms. Charlie and jack are absolute maniacs together... esp in the bath/afterwards. They totally egg each other on (jack does something, Charlie laughs, jack does it again, Charlie laughs then tries to do it). These two are going to give me a run for my money... I’m done breastfeeding and it feels greattttttttttt. Charlie loves the bottle and surprisingly loves the formula. He will stop what he’s doing when he sees me getting a bottle ready and crawls/walks over to retrieve it. He’s eating three full meals a day and I haven’t found anything he doesn’t like yet! I got a cheap video monitor off Facebook so I can get this baby sleeping better at night. It helps me to see him and to know he’s okay when he’s crying. Also it helps to see how he self soothes and puts himself back to sleep. He’s an adorable sleeper, in case anyone was wondering...

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
