Double sick

I went from being sick alllll last week and losing my voice to waking up Monday morning with STREP. Yeah, no thanks. I feel like a truck hit me. Strep sucks. Both boys seem fine for now (knock on wood!). I went to urgent care Monday morning and texted Gigi/baba around 9 and they came to my rescue by 11. They took both boys until I picked them up around 3. Thaaaaank goodness. I slept the entire time. I’m finally feeling a tiny bit better but MAN! I haven’t had strep in years and I hope it’s another couple years until it knocks me on my butt again. My dad came last week to help me too. He took the boys out of the house for like 2.5 hours on a target adventure so I could sleep. I have got to get healthy! Mama isn’t allowed to be sick for this long! It takes a village! Thank you to my helpful family! Oh and my mom comes tomorrow!! Enough about me...

Jack still doesn’t like soccer. Mike took him last Saturday and he didn’t participate for a single moment. Ummmm what’s the refund policy? I was hoping me not being there would help. Nope. He is still loving school and I love hearing him sing and to talk about school and his day. 

Charlie is quite the funny and active little one. He’s very opinionated and must be doing what jack is doing. He has opinions on where to lay on the couch and which cup he drinks from 🙄 also about how he eats an orange or an apple. Real Cool Charlie... 



He realllly wanted this underwear on his head. Don’t worry... it’s clean. Since jack refuses to wear them.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
