Lately


Jack had been getting up and getting in our bed for weeks. It was exhausting... he only wanted me to lay with him until he fell asleep. Some nights he would come in 3-4 times. Eff that. Anyways, we made a deal: sleep in your bed for 5 days in a row and pick out some beyblades. Success! He and Charlie are obsessed. I swear we played with them for 2 hours straight one day.

The couch, get all cozy and just pass out there. New not cute thing: spitting... like blowing raspberries but he’s def angry or annoyed when he does it soooo that’s fun. 

Went to a park on Sunday with kels and her crew. Jack kept putting his bey blades in the back of the bikes and cars they had to ride.

Jack found this wine cork on the floor and said: “uh oh we need to bring this to babcias house!” (She has a big bowl of corks at her house). 

Watching this tree chopping truck. All 4 boys in awe. 



It was my turn to take a little nap. It lasted all of 3 minutes... no naps for mom.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
