Busy

Kidding. Not busy, just forgetting to blog. Where do I start?! All of the days slightly blend together. I’m doing deliveries to local hospitals for ciao to keep my sanity and make a little cash for us. I just go grab the food, drive to a hospital, call the department and they come grab the food. Easyyyy 50 bucks. And I get to feel like everything is normal for like 45 mins. 

The boys are doing so well with the situation. Jack is quite understanding and follows our directions regarding hand washing and staying away from people because of the germs. Last night we had a sweet conversation and he asked me where the germs came from and why they are here and how long they’ll be here for. I told him they came from China and he said “what’s you mean China?” He was asking such cute questions and I felt sad that This is so out of our control and we have to be patient. 

We went to the creek behind Gigi and babas house then visited with them for a bit in the front yard. We kept an appropriate amount of distance.  It was so sad they couldn’t get close to or hug them but it was nice to see their faces. 

Charlie and jack are having some crazy sibling rivalry going on. My goodness it’s annoying (can I say that and still be a good mom?). But also Charlie looks up to jack so much it’s pretty cute. If he’s refusing to put his jacket on and I say “well jack has his on” Charlie will be like “oh!!” And put his on too. I try to do some educational activities with jack while Charlie naps. We do puzzles, practice writing his name, number/letter recognition and even a little science. We spend like 1.5 hours a day just the two of us and it’s pretty nice. He’s getting good at puzzles! Charlie is still “talking” up a storm. He is getting a tiny bit easier to understand but he still has his on language. 

The days mike works are so effing long and kinda lonely if that even makes sense- you feel meg??! I’m so anxious when mike is at work. All it takes is that one patient and one germ. What the heck do we do if mike gets sick? Anyways.... hang in there! Day by day. 

Absolutely zero personal space lol. May I please just have a second? No? Ok cool cool. 





We did a legit hike the other day at hemlock. Bit off more than I could chew but we made it! 

I was using Two cans of black beans to workout with. Charlie came down when I was done and insisted on eating some. So messy.
