Axolutely

Jack’s new word is axolutely. If I ask him something like.... do you want some milk? He’ll  respond with ummm axolutely... *pause* yep!!! Or axolutely no haha. He’s a riot. He’s really into the tadpoles and other nature stuff down the path. Yesterday he asked if he could have a tadpole birthday party 😂 

We have found something that works with Charlie and his (sometimes) crazy behavior (such as throwing a random object across the room). I tried fake crying as my reaction the other day and he immediately stopped what he was doing, put it down and came and hugged me. WHAT! It’s awesome. He hasn’t caught on yet and I hope he never does. Jack is like ummmm why are you crying like a baby? Guys stop crying like babies! Sorry bud but this is worth it.

Charlie got his rain boots! Very excited about them.... however they don’t work when you RUN through the puddle and get water allllll up in the boots. Defeats the purpose but whatever:)

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
