New creek

Yesterday we went out to Arlington for a new creek. It did not disappoint. It was perfect. We will be back! If we need things to do when cousins come into town this week this would be a great option! 

Charlie has been getting up so early again. Yesterday it was 4:55, this morning 5:20. He’s absolutely NOT getting enough sleep. Not sure what to do. I don’t think he can go without a daily nap either..... esp since he’s only getting 9 hours of sleep at night. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Help, sleep gods!!!! 


















Yep. Charlie is naked again. He doesn’t mind putting on a bathing suit (in this case underwear) but once it’s wet he is not about it. I don’t think it’s appropriate in a public place sooooooo we’ll keep working on it. I threatened to leave if he didn’t put his bathing suit on and jack backed me up so we got to stay a bit longer. Sometimes it takes a sweet jack to convince him of something. He looks up To him sooooo much.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Big girl biking

Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
