Back home

We left the beach Wednesday around 11:30. We got home in great time and the boys slept for most of the ride home. When we got home we went to the pool at life time to burn off lots of energy. Then dinner and bed. I didn’t know how Charlie was going to do at night because the night before we left for delaware Charlie climbed out of his crib. Anyways, he did terribly.... sooo we upgraded him to a big boy bed last night. He fell asleep pretty nicely...  got out maybe 3 times Looking for bs and finally laid down and went to bed. He got up once so
I went in and laid there until he fell asleep. A success? Idk. I’m tired. 

Char’s nap time so I took jack down to the creek. Mom/jack date. He’s so funny. 















Big boy bed! (Just took the one side off) We hyped it up and Charlie/jack we’re both excited about it.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
