The week

Lots of pool time, walks and not a lot of sleep. That pretty much sums up the week. Charlie has been terrible at night lately. We are baffled. Idk what to do with him! The other night he was just screaming around 1:30 and wouldn’t let up. He woke jack up so he came in our bed and I slept in jack’s bed with Charlie. Wtf. Not cool. Then he got up again around 5. Last night we skipped the 1:30 wake up and he was losing his mind around 4:30. To avoid waking up jack and mike I got him and we slept on the couch. Jack came down and was like “Charlie... we don’t wake peoples up. They need sleep. And we sleep in our bed.” Yes buddy. It makes for a frustrating and long day for me! But moms can handle anything sooooo thank goodness for that!

Tommy turned 5. Sarah threw a socially distant party. More like a drive by. Her husband is having open heart surgery in a week and a half so they’re being super careful. Obviously.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
