Doctors visit

We had their well checkups on 9/20. Mike came

Because I knew there were shots involved for jack and both got their flu shots. And so did I. I had my first reaction to it about 6 hours later. Body aches, shakes, fever, etc. it was unexpected and terrible and I didn’t sleep. Both did reallllllly well and cooperated with the doctor. Jack is super smart and easy to Reason with. Mike was telling him that we get shots so we can be safe from the germs, etc. and he took it like a champpppp. 

Both boys look healthy/awesome. Jack’s heart murmur is gone and Charlie has a slight one but nothing the doctor wants us to spend 2k on to double check. Phew. 

We got the lock the doc recommends. It’s a monkey latch and keeps the door cracked so he can see out but he can’t physically get out. 

Night 1: up twice and cried/tried to exit for 30 mins each time

Night 2: up twice for about 20 mins

Night 3: up once

Night 4: slept until 5am until he got up and decided he wanted an outfit change. What the heck? He started undressing and rummaging through his dresser for his “baball” shirt (a shirt with a basketball on it). Ummm what. So I went in, found him some new clothes and sent him back to bed and he slept until after his light was green. Praise be.
