October?

Holy crap it’s month 7 of this god forsaken global pandemic. And we’re all alive. Woo hoo. Keep wearing your masks, humans! Any who that’s an annoying thing to talk about. So is the election. So I shall refrain from both. School is going sooo great. They’re doing a letter a week and jack is catching on very quickly! Charlie seems to enjoy going but the teacher says he wants to do his own thing. Since he’s the youngest I said that’s fine when we first discussed him joining but if it gets in the way let me know. I can’t get a good read on her so we’ll see if it’s a problem or not. Only time will tell! On Friday both are in school and mike even took them. I laid down in bed at 8:45 and no kidding I woke back up at 11:45 😳😳 it. was. glorious. THEN mike set up a babysitter that afternoon and we went to a kid free lunch and we went to a winery. It was a great day.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
