More lately




Looks so old with his haircut! He loves basketballs so we got him two basketball shirts for his birthday which are huge now but he’ll be able to enjoy them for liiiiike 2 years.

Omgggg Charlie has been a mess with sleeping. I constantly struggle with this because I know we all need sleep but if Mike has a 12 hour shift the next day I just go in there and calm him down so Mike can sleep. Then I don’t sleep and I’m upset and it’s just a struggle. Soooo anyways I bought a bunch of crap from the dollar tree and made a treasure box for the boys. Don’t wake me up and stay in your room until light is green and you get to pick one of the things from the treasure box. Charlie was like 10 minutes shy one morning, 20 the next. And this morning he did it! We made a HUGE deal about it obviously. And he got his treasure box prize. 28 days means a habit so whatever let’s goooooo. Good job buddy! 

A fan favorite: gather every pillow and blanket upstairs and jump on the pile. Have fun, boys. 





Snack time! Today they decided to pull their chairs up to this little wall that separates the kitchen and eating area. Go for it.

Art show at school. It was super cute- they had all of their artwork up in the hallways for us to see.  My friend Sam had her baby (neighbors) and I’ve been trying to help out here and there. This was when she was still pregnant but we all went together to literacy night at the school so Sam could have a break. It was really cute.  Wanted every single bow in her hair for nighttime. None of them were in when she woke up.  Oh, poor jack. He had a realllly bad fall at the skate park. Blood everywhere, coming from his mouth and nose. I thought he broke his nose, lost some teeth, etc. we went to the dentist to make sure his mouth was ok and some how everything was ok. He got lucky! It was so hard to see him hit the ground and essentially face plant on the concrete. My mama heart was broken.  Some hot days! Back to the skate park 🤷🏼‍♀️ Field trip! His face healed realllly quickly We got Charlie a new mattress so we rode the old one down the stairs 🫣

Jack got one of the quarter award for all 4s on his report card! Lunch with mom and dad in the library!  Look at my handsome boy! He’s LOVING soccer.  Scoot all day everyday  They refuse to walk with us to school. My friend took this pic and sent it to me. Cuties  Wyatt helping Quinn cross the parking lot. We carpool with another family to soccer.  My neighbor Sam had her baby so we were in charge of their dog for a bit.  Date with Babcia and grandpa

Went in for lunch with the boys. Yes, the pizza is still the same from when we were kids.  Charlie changing Quinn’s diaper. But don’t worry, we are now potty trained!  I got a pedi on Mother’s Day and Quinn came. She freaking loved it.  Checking out how the washing machine works  Thais a good brother!  We got to bring cupcakes into Quinn’s class for snack. We sang to her and she felt super special :) Safety first  Quinn walked with Sam to pick up Harper the other day.  Quinn is 3!!!!! I figured this was probably the last birthday I could get away with keeping it low key so that’s what we did! A couple kids migrated to our yard and we had cupcakes :) And some sweaty fun  All she wanted was a dog that walks. Sorry bud it’s the closest thing you’ll ever have as a real dog 😂
