1 month old

Quinnie is 1 month old today! Sweeet baby we love you. She may or may not have given us a couple smiles already! She’s 8.2 pounds and 21.5 inches long (19” at birth), she eats like a CHAMP and keeps it down for the most part. She eats about every 2.5-3 hours from a bottle and I pump like 6-8 times a day. I feel like a cow but whatever. She’s def got a witching hour in the evening around 5/7. And last night she was soooooo tired I had a hard time calming her down. But this is just a phase. I repeat: this is just a phase. Trying to keep my cool and really take in all these newborn moments, esp in times of frustration, because she is my (our) last. We keep her up for a good hour and a half before her last feeding around 10:15 and I put her in her bassinet around 11 and last night she woke up at 4:30 to eat. I put her in her own room last night (in her bassinet) and had the monitor on her. She’s so loud so I think it’ll make a world of a difference. And now Mike is working once a week so that will help him get the sleep he needs before his crazy shifts. 

Yesterday was my first day with all 3 kids and we made it! Quinn had a doc appt so my sister watched the boys and then I brought everyone lunch. We came home and my friend Leah came over with her kids. She took one look at me and was like ok go lay down and give me the boys. So I took a 45 min nap while she took everyone outside (not Quinn). Now that’s a good friend.

Got her second hep b shot yesterday. Neither jack or Charlie cried for their shots. Quinn did. 





Everyone fell asleep in the car on the way home from Kelsey’s. My mom gave me a gift card to Starbucks for Mother’s Day. Soooo treated myself. To caffeine and peace and quiet. 







The boys are LOVING tae kwon do. They broke their wood boards today and they test for their first belt on Tuesday! I love that they love it. Charlie broke his on the first try!
