Jack is 5!

Jack turned 5 on Wednesday! I was feeling super guilty because I woke up Wednesday feeling SPENT but wanted to make sure the day was fun filled for him. We had donuts for breakfast then they went to life time with mike. After we had chick Fil a for lunch and then we hit the pool! Two of his friends were there so that was nice. Then he requested pizza from my work for dinner and ice cream sundaes. You got it buddy. Kelsey, mia, remi, Kendall and my dad came over to celebrate and indulge in pizza/sundaes. Jack had a great day and is excited he is finally 5. He’s such a smart, funny, kind, loving little guy and we love him so very much. Charlie looks up to him and adores him as well. Lately he’s been saying “where my bruder go?” Just acknowledging him as brother is so endearing. The other day jack told me I was the cutest girl and asked why Quinn has two butts. We love you buddy ❤️

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car.
