Cousins!

The Ricketts/Butallas are in town! We had a great pool day with them last Wednesday then we headed to the beach super early Saturday AM. We were out of the house at 6am and got to va beach around 10. We found a school park and played for a while then off to the beach! We got into the house around 3:30 and loaded allllll the stuff from the cars to the house and settled in for beach week! The kids (all of them) have been great. So many helping hands and help with Quinn has been so nice. We go to the beach super early (8:30/9) and hang until 11ish then back in for lunch then beach from 2-4. Quinn has been enjoying nice and long  morning naps and sleeping 10-5ish at night. Boys are in their own room and waking up around 6/6:30 with the rest of the gang. So much fun:)

From weeeeeeks ago. A little snow that was gone and melted in 2 days Valentine’s Day 🫣  Videographer at LT featuring the kids academy.  To bed with makeup on. The gift that keeps on giving, Mimi. Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
