First day of kindergarten

Annnnnd there he goes! First day of kindergarten has come and gone. He did great leaving and seemed excited and maybe a tiny bit nervous. He was so ready for this. Mike and I only cried a little bit. After we dropped him off we went to the boo-hoo breakfast for all the kindergarten parents. The PTA is suuuuper active at the school which I love. Obviously we joined. The day went by quickly and we all went to get him. He said it was a good day, didn’t have any ketchup for his chicken nuggets (he wanted to try school lunch- which is free for everyone). He also said his mask was itchy (I hate you, masks!!). At dinner he confessed that he wasn’t participating in the activity at pe and the teacher asked if he was tired and he said yes. Spoiler alert: he was actually not tired. Just didn’t want to do it. Last night I said good night my kindergarten boy! And he said goodnight college girl 😂 we were both cracking up. 

Charlie has been fine with this HUGE transition. So far so good! He says “I miss wa-wa”

The boys gave Quinn a bath the other night. It was pretty cute

Jack really likes his hair to look nice. So he does it every morning LOL. I’ll get him some kid gel at some point

The school is 6 houses down from our new house. Were obviously driving him for the time being but we’ll be able to walk or ride bikes there and home! We walked by the new house after dropping Jack off. We’re excited! 




Jack wouldn’t stand in front of the sign but Charlie would!

Art show at school. It was super cute- they had all of their artwork up in the hallways for us to see.  My friend Sam had her baby (neighbors) and I’ve been trying to help out here and there. This was when she was still pregnant but we all went together to literacy night at the school so Sam could have a break. It was really cute.  Wanted every single bow in her hair for nighttime. None of them were in when she woke up.  Oh, poor jack. He had a realllly bad fall at the skate park. Blood everywhere, coming from his mouth and nose. I thought he broke his nose, lost some teeth, etc. we went to the dentist to make sure his mouth was ok and some how everything was ok. He got lucky! It was so hard to see him hit the ground and essentially face plant on the concrete. My mama heart was broken.  Some hot days! Back to the skate park 🤷🏼‍♀️ Field trip! His face healed realllly quickly We got Charlie a new mattress so we rode the old one down the stairs 🫣

Jack got one of the quarter award for all 4s on his report card! Lunch with mom and dad in the library!  Look at my handsome boy! He’s LOVING soccer.  Scoot all day everyday  They refuse to walk with us to school. My friend took this pic and sent it to me. Cuties  Wyatt helping Quinn cross the parking lot. Went in for lunch with the boys. Yes, the pizza is still the same from when we were kids.  Charlie changing Quinn’s diaper. But don’t worry, we are now potty trained!  I got a pedi on Mother’s Day and Quinn came. She freaking loved it.  Checking out how the washing machine works  Thais a good brother!  We got to bring cupcakes into Quinn’s class for snack. We sang to her and she felt super special :) Safety first  Quinn walked with Sam to pick up Harper the other day.  Quinn is 3!!!!! I figured this was probably the last birthday I could get away with keeping it low key so that’s what we did! A couple kids migrated to our yard and we had cupcakes :) And some sweaty fun  All she wanted was a dog that walks. Sorry bud it’s the closest thing you’ll ever have as a real dog 😂
