NEW PICS!



Back under contract for a third time. Set to close November 30th. 

 Last weekend we went to the “zoo” with Kels and her crew and Kendall. The company my parents/siblings invest with rents out the entire zoo out in Reston. I’m talking every aspect of it. Free camel rides, free self guided safari tour, feed the animals, etc. they also provide a pizza and chick Fil a lunch. I think it was our third year going. Any ways.... it was a blast. The self guided tour in hit car was so fun with the boys. The llamas (alpacas?) put their heads right in the car and the really enjoyed it. Jack was SO into riding a camel and Charlie insisted I go with him so obviously I couldn’t say no. Mike was working so it was quite the thing to take on solo but it was worth it. Later that day we went to trunk or treat at Charlies school. It was quite the day. 

The next day was HALLOWEEN! Jack kept asking if it was going to get dark soon. They LOVED it. Jess and Sarah both asked if they could come trick or treat in our new hood (I genuinely thought we’d be moved  in by then) but I had everyone over anyways. I got 4 pizzas, other drinks and the kids had a blast. It was so amazing to watch all the kids running around
The big yard 🤗They’re already wanting to come over next year. I promised them both we’d have them over again once we were settled in. 

Today was a short week school-wise because of the election and teacher work days. On Monday I had conferences with the boys’ teachers and they’re both doing great. Charlies teacher said she can’t have favorites but if she could it would be Charlie 🥰 she also wants me to get him some help with his speech. It’ll be weird to hear him speaking properly and I’ll miss his adorable way of speaking his own language only our family understands. Obviously that’s not a reality.  I bet he’ll be just as hilarious once he is saying things properly. thank you to baba for watching the boys so I could go to the conferences on my own with quinnie. Later on Monday we went to my friend Ainsley’s house for a late Halloween Party (rescheduled from Friday because of the rain). The boys ran and ran with friends. Again, a great time. Then Tuesday was rainy again and back to school Wednesday! I had fun with the kiddos over the long weekend. It was a whirlwind.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
