Back to reality

Mike and I had a wonderful and much needed trip. We had some issues getting on the ship and it was a long day of travel but obviously it was worth it and no one wants to hear me complain. We relaxed, slept a lot, went to the beach, ate delish food and just enjoyed each others company. Thank you to my parents who held down the fort for 5 days with our little bambinos. Everyone got a great report and they even said they would watch them again (obviously once they get caught up on some sleep)! They even were lucky enough to have a March snow. Jk no one wants that! So grateful for the time we were able to spend together! And somehow Quinn is like a different/calmer baby since our return. Idk but I’ll take it! The boys even spent a couple of hours with Gigi and baba. Thank you to everyone!

This 6 yo girl named Thea was in LOVE with Quinn the other day. We went after dinner the other day. There were a bunch of people there we knew so it was hard to get them to leave. Idk if I’ll make that a regular thing because I needed to get Quinn to bed and it was just a lot. Noted.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes!
