Myrtle Beach

It was a FUN week in South Carolina. We spent hours at the pool and the boys did great, loving
Their best lives! Quinn was a fan of the beach and of course the pool. She liked watching the birds on the beach and started to point to them when I would say “where’s the bird?!” We had the buffet breakfast every morning and cooked lunch/dinner in our condo. We left tan, exhausted and with lots of fun memories! We did putt putt one morning and the boys loved that. The weather was mostly sunny in the low 70s which was plenty warm since the pool was heated. We had some cool storms come through and we watched from the balcony eating ice cream. We did the arcade a couple times in the resort which was of course a hit too! We left Friday around 8:30 am and the kids did surprisingly well in the car. Mike just powered through and I attempted to keep Quinn as happy as possible. We got home around 3:30 with just one stop for lunch. Now to catch up on sleep! Jack slept until almost 8 this morning and Charlie woke up at 1:50 last night trying to start the day lol. We’re all sorts of confused but we’ll get back to normal in no time. Mike headed back to work this morning and I taught my class then we went to a birthday party. Yet another busy day 😬












She always seems to be napping when house keeping wanted to come by. I was able to get her back to sleep with some mama snuggles.

The pool every couple hours. 

A baby by the balcony. Only gave me mild heart attacks when she went out there. I checked each railing to ensure they weren’t moving at all. CraY? Yes.

On the last night we went and had dinner on the patio. The boys met this boy Brent and they ran and ran with him then sat nicely when dinner came. It was perfect 



When we got home we burned off some energy at the park with our neighbors then hit the hay 

The boys and their relationship with Quinn is adorable. She adores them.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
