The week

It was a good week! Quinn is doing lots of new things: she’s learned to go down stairs feet first, she can clap, she can wave/say bye-bye (and it’s the cutest thing ever), she can high five and is still super proud of herself when she stands. When I time her naps right she does really well. Sometimes we can get 1.5 hours in the morning and another hour in the afternoon. Like I said, if I get the timing right (not over tired). This week was teacher appreciation week so we celebrated the boys’ amazing teachers with treats all week.

Earlier on in the week Charlie’s light was on around 4:50am. I went in to see what he was doing and he was naked and holding a bathing suit. I was like whatttcha doing buddy? He looked at me super confused and said “a super long time ago mom said to get ready for the pool.” Ummmm what? I guess he was having a dream and we were going to the pool? Anyways, after I convinced him it wasn’t pool time nor was it wake time we got his pjs back on him and he laid back down. He’s silly.

The countdown to summer is on! Jack is excited to have a break from school and has acknowledged he has worked super hard this year (which he has). I must admit I miss him a lot when he’s at school and I definitely feel like he’s grown/matured right before my eyes during this first year of school. He told me about the girl he “really likes” and that he wants to be a kindergarten teacher when he grows up.

We met a friend at the farm. Quinn was fearless.

We rode the tractor and the Ferris wheel

Then Charlie took a floor nap and Quinn took a two hour nap.

Bring a flower for your teacher!

Park with some friends. These two were born days apart at the same hospital

Notice how dirty she is? This is post rain but we needed to get some energy out!

Very proud of herself

Morning smiles
