First day of school!

Jack had his first day of school on Monday. A big first grader! He was so excited to go, humored me with a couple pics then walked inside and didn’t look back once. When I got him that afternoon he gave me the longest, sweetest hug. When I asked how his day was he said “exhausting.” Yep! I really hope he continues to love school because I can’t imagine any other way. His teacher seems lovely and I have heard nothing but good things about her. 

Quinn also had her 15 month appt Monday. She’s doing great! She got two shots. Not down for a covid shot at the moment but that’s not the point! It’s insane how more advanced she is verbally than the boys were. She understands so much and can easier communicate her needs. Sorry, but the two genders are total opposites in my opinion. I didn’t say girls are smarter but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was science behind that thought. 

Charlie starts speech next week! And school
In a week and a half. The speech therapist will come to our house every Thursday at 1:45, for 45 minutes. Exited for him! 


This girl LOVES her brothers and loves to hug them.

Ready to go get his brother! Really wanted dyed hair so threw some spray in there and he was happy. Whatever man!

January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
