Beach week!

We went to sandbridge the first week of July. It was a wonderful week with lots of great memories made. Thank you Gigi and baba for your continued generosity. We had a pool this year and it was a big hit with the kids… and grownups. It helped break up the day and those who were done at the beach came back for a dip in the pool. It worked out great in my opinion! 


We hit the road at 5:30am to beat the traffic. I can’t think of anything worse than sitting on 95 in traffic with 3 kids and a husband. So we got to sandbridge around 9ish and met up with meg. We did the park, library and target. We went to the house around 1 and it was clean! We got right to swimming and got in the house early. 

























She passed out on me right before dinner. Didn’t effect bedtime at all. They all played so hard. Every single moment of the day 


























Our house was right across the street from Sarah’s so she came down to the beach for a little and back to the pool. 





Not sure what I did to deserve this but I’m not complaining !

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! January and the cruise!!

We were scheduled to fly out early Sunday morning, January 5th. The Friday before our bodies had other plans. We went to life time Friday evening and the staff came to grab me informing me jack didn’t feel well. I signed him out and asked Mike to come pick him up. While we’re waiting, jack tells me he’s going to get sick. I grabbed the nearest trash can and caught the vomit mid air. I stay and swim with Charlie and Quinn and Charlie starts to say he’s suuuper hungry.. which I think he confused for an upset tummy. Anyways, the 3 of us go to chipotle. Charlie barely eats and I’m thinking oh crap. I grabbed a brown bag to have in the car just in case. Well we needed it. The bag ended up Giving out and vomit ended up allll over my car. Boys in bed but both up for a couple of hours getting sick. Then that was it for them. As for me. Omg. Around midnight was my turn. Absolutely freaking miserable.
