Lately


There was a dusting of snow while we were in MN. Yes, a month ago. My b. Quinn was not into jackets up there. 



Letting the pro take charge. Meg knows what’s up when it comes to playing in the snow. All the gear.

Fun aunt Kate took the kids to the pinball machine restaurant while the kids were in school. It was fun! 



Then we went to the mall of America to ride rides! All the cousins got picked up from school early to join.

The boys rode their first roller coasters! The takeaways: Charlie said he hates roller coasters and jacks face was white with terror and was crying. Soooo maybe we’ll wait a bit before revisiting roller coasters.



And I rode the upside down one. 










And the way home… it was a great trip and the kids got along so beautifully it was so fun to see! 


The pilots invited the kids to the cockpit. The boys did amazingly, Quinn was a terrorist. We will pay bettter attention in the future. We got on a 7:30 pm flight and landed in DC around 11. Bed around 12:15 and everyone slept until about 8:30/9. We slowly made our way to school around 11am.

Jack with his relay team at the relay carnival!   So after the relay carnival we learn which teams made it to all-stars. The tradition is they go house to house delivering the all-star caps. I did say my kids were asleep in the group chat. Well at 9:30 pm jacks coach knocks on the door. I obviously let him come up to wake Jack up to share the big news 🤣😬🫣 when he woke up he asked if it was a Dream or real life  4th of July shenanigans.  Whirlpool  Eating the Watermelon from the watermelon relay  They’re inside a swimming cap. Didn’t know they stretched like that 😬 As the most random adventure ever we went to frying pan park. We had a coupon to ride the Ferris wheel so why not on the 4th of July?  Then firework time! Big girl biking

Still loving the makeup Mimi got her for Christmas 😒 Mike took off her training wheels and off she went! She’s so good on that bike and can handle over a mile bike ride. She wants to ride allllll the time. She’s wobbly on it and it scares the crap out of me but so proud of her.  Carpool ! Off she goes! Charlie fell right on his chin at Kelsey’s house and was in lots of pain after. Now he’s got a sick bruise
