Cousins

The day after Christmas Kate/meg and cousins came in town. They slept over one night and all the kiddos ended up in Charlie’s room in sleeping bags and on a blowup mattress.

Everyone went to Gigi/babas for a delayed Christmas celebration but I felt like crud so I stayed back. I ended up losing my voice shortly after and felt soooo crummy for the majority of last week. All I wanted/could do was sleep. On the mend now! 


New Year’s Eve we went putt putt Golfing then I headed to work 





Grandpa came over last week to help me since I didn’t feel well. I slept. Thank youuuuu

Forest walk with friends. We ended up walking 2 miles 

We went to 5 guys for dinner the other night. Dare I say everyone’s getting older and we can kinda handle going out to dinner? I like bringing them to ciao when it’s not busy to practice how to act in a restaurant. And my friends don’t care if we act a fool and we get a hefty discount. So that’s fun! 

They had face painting at life time. 








The next day they had face painting again at life time. Quinn chose to be a cat. Then when she was done she lost her ishhhh because she decided she wanted to be a dog. But that’s not how the world works. So we carried her out of life time kicking and screaming “I want to be a DOGGGGG!!!!” Then she took a 3 hour nap. The end.

We played on the tennis courts for a while. I sat.

We went to Nike to grab some new shoes for me. She stood with these mannequins and asked me to take her picture with “these guys.”

A huge storm came through. Walking to get the boys.

Art show at school. It was super cute- they had all of their artwork up in the hallways for us to see.  My friend Sam had her baby (neighbors) and I’ve been trying to help out here and there. This was when she was still pregnant but we all went together to literacy night at the school so Sam could have a break. It was really cute.  Wanted every single bow in her hair for nighttime. None of them were in when she woke up.  Oh, poor jack. He had a realllly bad fall at the skate park. Blood everywhere, coming from his mouth and nose. I thought he broke his nose, lost some teeth, etc. we went to the dentist to make sure his mouth was ok and some how everything was ok. He got lucky! It was so hard to see him hit the ground and essentially face plant on the concrete. My mama heart was broken.  Some hot days! Back to the skate park 🤷🏼‍♀️ Field trip! His face healed realllly quickly We got Charlie a new mattress so we rode the old one down the stairs 🫣

Jack got one of the quarter award for all 4s on his report card! Lunch with mom and dad in the library!  Look at my handsome boy! He’s LOVING soccer.  Scoot all day everyday  They refuse to walk with us to school. My friend took this pic and sent it to me. Cuties  Wyatt helping Quinn cross the parking lot. Went in for lunch with the boys. Yes, the pizza is still the same from when we were kids.  Charlie changing Quinn’s diaper. But don’t worry, we are now potty trained!  I got a pedi on Mother’s Day and Quinn came. She freaking loved it.  Checking out how the washing machine works  Thais a good brother!  We got to bring cupcakes into Quinn’s class for snack. We sang to her and she felt super special :) Safety first  Quinn walked with Sam to pick up Harper the other day.  Quinn is 3!!!!! I figured this was probably the last birthday I could get away with keeping it low key so that’s what we did! A couple kids migrated to our yard and we had cupcakes :) And some sweaty fun  All she wanted was a dog that walks. Sorry bud it’s the closest thing you’ll ever have as a real dog 😂
