Our O’Neill Life 3

The week has been filled with lots of visits to the pool. I’m going to take FULL advantage since they close soon. I switch it up between Broyhill and life time. Between the two we are set. I just got an email today that jack’s school has decided NOT to open this fall. I’m bummed. I don’t want to home school him. I think it’s so important to learn/listen to someone other than mike And I...  Especially now since he’s been home with us for months. I shall find another solution.  Look mom I have “whittle bobes.” 🤦🏼‍♀️ He calls boobs bobes (think the long o sound). “Mom, I can see your bobes. Why you gots bobes?” I promise I don’t walk around naked.  Charlie blocking the stairs before bath time with a split lol  Playing with our neighbor, colton.  Boy loves puzzles 

Yesterday we went to bull run winery with Kelsey and her crew and Jenny/avi. We hadn’t seen Jenny in..... months. Like even before covid times. So we were def due for a visit. The kids had lots of space to run around away from other people. It was a nice afternoon. From there we ordered food from ciao and ate in the backyard! Jess watched the boys yesterday while I taught so I don’t have to bring the boys to childcare. She’s the besssssst.  We got a big ass umbrella for the backyard. The boys helped me assemble.  Look at that gorgeous baby. 

We left the beach Wednesday around 11:30. We got home in great time and the boys slept for most of the ride home. When we got home we went to the pool at life time to burn off lots of energy. Then dinner and bed. I didn’t know how Charlie was going to do at night because the night before we left for delaware Charlie climbed out of his crib. Anyways, he did terribly.... sooo we upgraded him to a big boy bed last night. He fell asleep pretty nicely...  got out maybe 3 times Looking for bs and finally laid down and went to bed. He got up once so I went in and laid there until he fell asleep. A success? Idk. I’m tired.  Char’s nap time so I took jack down to the creek. Mom/jack date. He’s so funny.  Big boy bed! (Just took the one side off) We hyped it up and Charlie/jack we’re both excited about it.

Mike and I ended up going out AGAIN Sunday evening. We went to dinner at northeast where I used to work then we went putt-putt golfing. It was really nice. I did not win. Two date nights means two nights I didn’t have to bathe and put the kids to bed. Winning in my opinion. Mike ended up leaving Monday with my dad and the boys and I stayed behind and drove our car back Wednesday. It rained pretty much all day Sunday so we needed to get some beach time in! Besides, mike had to work Tuesday/Wednesday so really... what were we going home to?  Making stepping stones with Babcia.  We went to the boardwalk on the rainy Sunday. We noticed a slight break in the rain so we just went!  It was really fun and we got fries/chick nuggets for lunch.  We let them each have a dollar to play a game  Jack made a funny face and below is Charlie copying/recreating it  They loved the water.
